Education and Training is a journey from Childhood to adulthood (credle to grave) and we at Oriental College of Education (OCE) wish to make their journey an exiting and fulfilling one.
Oriental College of Education seeks to develop students teachers (pupil) who are confident, disciplined and critical thinkers. These qualities ensure that we develop them into responsible and caring teachers of a global society. This can be achieved better through experiential training and specifically created opportunities. We aim to train through a holistic approach and enable our Student Teachers (Pupil) to explore their potential to the fulltset. We achieve this through a curriculum that goes beyond academics and incorporates within itself various experiences like studying the environment, adventure, leadership training and service to society and nation hence making their journey to self realization a fulfilling one. Training of highest quality is possible in our environment where student teachers feel valued and respected. At Oriental College of Education the democratic ethos pervades every aspect of interaction with student teachers (Pupil), mentors and management. It is in such an environment that our (pupil) student teachers, develop an understanding of not just their strengths but also their weaknesses. This in turn leads to a healthy self-respect and increased confidence in their problem solving abilities.

We develop in our student teachers optimism, confidence, enthusiasm, concern for justice and idealism, which will metamorphose into growth, maturity and a global perspective that citizens of the 21st century should have.
